Winsaga Woods Pottery

Winsaga Woods Pottery Studio is located in a beautiful country setting just outside of Winnipeg Manitoba

3.8 Kilometers North of the Perimeter Hwy. 69040 Summit Rd. between Hwy 6 & 7 at the Winsaga Woods sign.

Their pots are in porcelain and stoneware in various patterns and shapes, both wheel thrown and hand built, made to be used and enjoyed.

They also have pieces done in Raku which is more decorative than functional.

All of Winsaga's pots are lead free, oven proof, dish washer safe and ideal for microwave cooking.

Lou, the main potter at Winsaga Woods, has been working in clay since 1978 and has kept up with new techniques through various workshops and seminars after her initial training at Stoneware Gallery in Winnipeg.

In the first years she worked part-time at her craft, taking early retirement from teaching to pot full time to continue with what has become one of the most successful pottery studios in Manitoba.

They host two major shows/sales each year – The Winsaga Woods Christmas Open House each November and the Spring Open House the first weekend in May. The open houses are well attended and enjoyed by their many clients. They serve refreshments and have a great door prize.

At Winsaga Woods it is privilege to provide you with your own special collection, so if you are planning that special day, do it with Winsaga Woods Pottery by starting your own Gift Registry.

At Winsaga Woods the pottery is meant to be used and enjoyed!
